Katie and Beth Kuntz-Wineland

Together, Katie (she/her/hers) and Beth (she/her/hers) Kuntz-Wineland have been seekers of justice and builders of community in each place they have called home – first at Bluffton University, where they met; second at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio, where Katie earned her MDiv; and now in Toledo’s south side and at Bittersweet Farms, an organization serving adults with autism where they have both found their vocation.

Beth serves as the Gardens Specialist at Bittersweet, overseeing a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program that employs adults with autism, and Katie serves as Bittersweet’s Marketing Coordinator. Their shared passions include: action and advocacy for peace and justice in every form, local food, plant-based cooking, health and wellness, and sustainable zero waste living.

A cradle United Methodist with long-term ecumenical connections in the Mennonite and Unitarian Universalist traditions, Katie has been a member of CWACM since 2017. She is currently exploring Extraordinary Ordination with the Movement. Beth is new to CWACM, bringing spiritual roots in the Anabaptist/peace church, Unity, and Unitarian Universalist traditions
